How I teach
Most students arrive able to follow a method and unable to say why it works. That's fine for the standard questions and it falls apart on the ones that carry the marks. I go back to where each technique comes from, then build the exam technique on top of it.
I studied maths at King's College London, where I later taught undergraduate calculus, and I work as a pricing actuary — so I use this material daily rather than remembering it from school. This is what a lesson sounds like:

The videos and topic pages are A-level, but the tutoring isn't limited to it — I teach 11+ and SATs, GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate maths — any exam board.
Getting started
£60 an hour online, £75 in person. Before booking anything we have a short call, no charge, so I understand what's needed and you can decide whether I'm the right person for it.
