Help with the part that isn’t clicking
You might understand the lesson but get stuck when the question changes, have gaps from earlier topics, or want to practise explaining your working clearly. We can start with the exact topic, question or mark scheme you find difficult.
The focus here is A-level maths. Tell me your year group, exam board and what you want to improve when you get in touch.
How lessons work
- Start with a short, free call. We’ll discuss what you need help with, your goals and whether online or in-person lessons suit you.
- Send the maths beforehand. A topic, past-paper question or piece of working helps me prepare for the session.
- Understand, then apply. We’ll work through why the method works and use it on questions, with time to look at your reasoning.
Lessons usually last an hour and run weekly. Online, we use a shared whiteboard so you can follow the working as it develops. Bring a laptop and a way to show your written work; a phone camera is enough.
Who you’ll be learning with
I studied mathematics at King’s College London and work as a pricing actuary. My teaching experience includes tutoring, classrooms at London Academy and Oasis Southbank, and graduate teaching at King’s on Calculus II and Mathematical Finance II.

Where I teach
I’m based in Hendon, north London and travel to students. North London and Hertfordshire work well for weekday evenings and weekends. Central London is available on weekday evenings, depending on my work location.
